Tree & Shrub Sale

The Tree and Shrub program orders are to be picked up on the delivery date at the Machias Post Office parking lot. No exceptions, no deliveries.

2009 Rain Barrel Order Form

Rain barrel pick-up day is Friday, May 1st same day as Tree and Shrubs.  Deadline for placing order BY FRIDAY, APRIL 3rd.

Trout Stocking Program:

New fall prices, brook trout are available. There is a limited supply so please order early. See order form below for price and size.

Customers must obtain a stocking permit from IF&W. Permit applications are available in our office. We can also provide assistance with completing the applications.

Trout Sale

The Trout Program orders are to be picked up on the delivery date in the Machias Post Office parking lot. No exceptions, no deliveries.

 Deadline to order Rainbow Trout April 8th, Delivery of Rainbows Monday May 11th at 2-3pm Machias Post Office parking lot.our address.

Deadline to order Brook trout March 20th, orders after this date to April 30th will have a 10% increase in price.  Delivery of Brook Trout is Monday May 18rd at 11am-1pm Machias Post Office parking lot.

Integrated Crop Management:

ICM means that pest and fertility levels are monitored before pesticides or fertilizers are used. ICM programs look beyond pest problems and include other production decisions.

Blueberry bushes in bloom

It is the monitoring of pests and nutrients in commercial lowbush blueberry fields. It also includes helping with the placement of honey bee hives, mapping weeds, writing drift management plans, and other services.

Members in the program will be informed on a regular basis as to pest and nutrient conditions in their fields. Insect, disease and weed populations will be reported and control recommendations given. Leaf tissue and soil samples will be taken and fertilizer recommendation given, when requested.
